Catherine, one of our 2024 winners, shared:

“I live with RP and in the last few years I have been diagnosed with Usher Type 2 and I was diagnosed with RP when I was 8 in 1977. I have been involved with Retina UK for 25 years and I have played the Raffle every year as a means of giving money, I never viewed it as a chance of winning. Retina UK is a very worthwhile charity and any way we can support is a great thing to do. You never know, you might just get lucky – it only takes that one ticket! With the money, we went on a holiday as it’s not often you get a lump of money that we weren’t expecting so we said let’s do something meaningful and headed to the sunshine!”
