Retina UK awarded prestigious quality standard
The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) have awarded Retina UK the Visibly Better Employer quality standard.
Retina UK recognise that blind and partially sighted people are a valuable and important part of our workforce. Only one in four people with sight loss of working age are currently in employment.
Chief Executive, Tina Garvey, said: “Diversity and inclusivity is key to building a successful workforce. We are delighted to be awarded this quality standard and are committed to supporting all of our staff to grow and thrive. We will always endeavor to employ the best candidate for the role based on ability, no matter their level of vision.”
