Welcome to the 'Talking' Travel Peer Support Group where we invite you to come and share your experiences, tips and hints around all things Travel at our bi-monthly meetings, from going on holidays to general every day getting about.

Please come and join group facilitators Rachael and Richard Zimbler for our latest 'Talking' Travel peer support group meeting where we are delighted to welcome our guest speakers Sight & Sound who will be talking about the new WeWalk Smart Cane 2 coming out later this year.

The WeWALK Smart Cane 2 redefines mobility for visually impaired individuals with its array of revolutionary features and new, sleek and lighter handle. With enhanced obstacle detection capabilities, it ensures safety by alerting users to overhead obstacles while maintaining ground-level feedback. The addition of an intelligent voice assistant allows for hands-free navigation and instant access to information. Seamlessly connected via Bluetooth, Smart Cane 2 offers accessible navigation with turn-by-turn instructions and live public transit updates. Its robust design, including premium audio performance and all-weather durability, ensures reliability in any conditions.

Please come along and join us to hear from the Sight & Sound team and learn about this new travel device that could help to promote independence and mobility amongst the V.I community.

As we are coming up to the holiday season Rachael and Richard are also happy to answer any questions or queries you may have around travel, holidays or getting out and about in general so please feel free to come and have a chat with them and the group for any support you may need.

We hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you there!
