Paris Half Marathon 2024
#TeamRetinaUK goes global! Are you up for an international race in aid of Retina UK? We would love to hear from you! The Paris half marathon sees 45,000 runners take part every year and it has a practically flat course which passes through some of the city’s most stunning locations.
The Place de la Bastille is the centre of the race, since both the start and the finish line are close to this emblematic place that offers you a perfect photo to celebrate your race. In addition, the race will allow you to briefly visit places such as the Rue de Rivoli, the Hôtel de Ville, the banks of the River Seine, the Vincennes Forest and its Château, and the Tolbiac Bridge.
Unlike other marathons, it is necessary to have a medical certificate dated within a year of the date of the race and it must state that you’re physically fit to participate in the race.
