Information and support

Are you affected by inherited sight loss? We are here to help.

Retina UK* is a national charity. We offer information and support to people affected by inherited sight loss to enable them to lead better lives today and fund medical research to accelerate the search for treatments for the future.

We are here for you. You could be:

  • Recently diagnosed
  • Living with inherited sight loss for a while
  • Someone with a family history of the condition
  • A family member or friend of someone affected
  • A professional providing support.

*Retina UK was previously known as RP Fighting Blindness and the British Retinitis Pigmentosa Society (BRPS).

Look Forward – Winter 2025 – Issue 188

This is the final edition of Look Forward this year and what a year it has been! We’ve had some very positive feedback about our Conferences and the Big Give Christmas Challenge is back - a great opportunity to double your donation at no extra cost to you! We’ve included a handy ‘What’s on’ article which outlines some of our plans for 2026. We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our readers a very Merry Christmas and a happy and fulfilling New Year.
