Terms and conditions – Retina UK Online Auction

  • The deadline for current prizes is the 9th of June, more prizes will be uploaded and be eligible for bids throughout the year.
  • All profits from the raffle will be used by Retina UK, registered charity number 1153851, to fund pioneering research into inherited sight loss and provide vital information and support to our community.
  • Participation in the auction is made by bidding on the items on our auction site through card payments online.
  • All debit card payments will be processed in line with Retina UK’s Donation Processing Policy.
  • Any payment received after the draw date will be treated as a donation.
  • Please keep your email to hand for proof of bid.
  • No bids are to be made by a person aged under 16 years. If an item is unknowingly sold to or by a person under the age of 16, it will be disqualified from the auction and the money paid for it will be refunded.
  • Prizes must not be sold in the street or door to door.
  • Entrants must be resident in Great Britain.
  • The highest bidder by the deadline of the auction prize will be the winner.
  • Retina UK accepts no responsibility for prizes which are lost, damaged, illegible, or from which the winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the auction to be disrupted.
  • Where Retina UK is unable to contact a prize winner after 30 days, the second highest bidder will then become the winner.
  • Retina UK reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.
  • Retina UK may amend auction dates, deadlines, or lot availability at any time
  • By placing a bid, you are bounded to purchase the item if you are the highest bidder at close
  • All item descriptions are accurate to the best of our knowledge but may vary due to availability or changes.
