We have created Discover Wellbeing to help people affected by inherited sight loss to develop an awareness of emotional wellbeing and the practical skills to adapt to life’s ups and downs.
Our amazing volunteers are diverse in age, background and ethnicity. The one thing they have in common is that they are all living with, or directly affected by, an inherited sight loss condition.
Our vision is a world where everyone with inherited sight loss is able to live a fulfilling life.
Our sight loss survey highlighted that you have a real appetite to get involved in representing the inherited sight loss community through activities like focus groups, surveys and research projects via the Retina UK Lived Experience Panel.
Thursday 19 September, 11.00am - 1.00pm - In-person - Come and join us at the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion for a special focus group with Dr. Roly Megaw.
Saturday 12 October, 10.30am - 3.30pm - In-person - Come and join the Hampshire group for a visit to the Tudor House and Garden in historic Southampton, followed by a pub lunch.
Saturday 5 October, 10.00am - In-person - Come and join the Belfast Bumpers Group for a day out in Londonderry with lunch at The Exchange restaurant followed by a walk around The Derry Walls.
Giving a regular monthly or quarterly donation of any amount is a wonderful way to help Retina UK support the inherited sight loss community.
