Volunteers are highly valued members of the Retina UK team and essential to our ability to achieve our vision of a world where all those affected by inherited retinal conditions are able to live a fulfilling life.

We are proud to work collaboratively with a number of corporate partners to enable our community to live fulfilled lives today as well as supporting the pharmaceutical industry in their mission to develop potential new treatments.

Inherited retinal dystrophies (IRDs) are the leading cause of blindness in working-age people in the UK, and children as young as eighteen-months are regularly diagnosed.

We always aim to provide a high standard of service to our community. If you are unhappy with any of our services it is important that you let us know.

There are many other ways you can support Retina UK, including raising donations as you shop and sell online, and donating your foreign currency, stamps or shares.
