As well as funding our crucial support services, including our Helpline and Peer Support Groups, your donations in February will also go towards supporting our exceptional scientists who are leading important translational medical research into retinitis pigmentosa and other inherited sight loss conditions. At Retina UK, we are supporting innovative research projects in areas such as gene therapy and photoreceptor stem cell patches, at institutions like UCL, Kings, Edinburgh University and Newcastle University – because of you.

With your support in February and throughout 2025, we can give real momentum to this important work. Since Retina UK was formed almost 50 years ago, we have achieved so much together and we still need your help.

Thank you for your incredible continued support.

"I was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa 24 years ago, just after the birth of my daughter. Your support will greatly help to contribute towards medical advancements and support services that have the potential to transform lives."
