What your monthly donation could fund:

  • £10 each month for a year could help us answer 12 calls to our Helpline, providing information and support related to inherited sight loss and offering emotional support
  • £20 could keep our website up and running for two days each month
  • £40 could fund use of a state-of-the-art microscope in research for one week each month
  • £100 could pay for one PhD student on a research project for one day each month.

Retina UK is in touch with more than 10,000 members of the inherited sight loss community each year, and is one of the leading funders of research into inherited retinal dystrophies. We receive no government funding, and so rely entirely on the generosity of supporters like you to fund our important work. Your regular gift would help us plan for the future and ensure we can continue being there for everyone who needs us for years to come.

While we appreciate every donation towards our work, general donations enable us to work proactively and respond to the greatest need. However you are more than welcome to specify whether you would like your donation to be used solely for research if you prefer. Just let us know.
