
Retina UK Annual Conference 2025
We will be back in London (and online) in 2025 for our Annual Conference.
The line-up for our 50th anniversary year conference includes the following:
- 50 years of progress into inherited sight loss research and the impact of Retina UK’s funding with Professor Michel Michaelides, Consultant Ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
- Professor Jane Sowden, Professor of Developmental Biology and Genetics at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children will outline her latest Retina-UK funded project, exploring the development of a surgically implanted photoreceptor patch to repair the retina.
- Biotechnology companies will join us to update on their innovative work developing potential treatments for inherited sight loss.
- Christopher Patnoe, Head of Accessibility and Disability Inclusion at Google will explain about how their innovative advances in technology can help the sight loss community.
- Plus a fantastic line-up of speakers on topic including

Plus, new for 2025! In our final session of the day, our speakers will be available to have a chat and answer your questions in a special ‘meet the speaker’ session* along with our usual exhibition stands.

We know that travel costs and accommodation can be expensive, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to attend our annual conference in person.
