Local Peer Support Group

West Midlands Local Peer Support Group

  • Date and Time info: 18/02/2025 from 19:00:00 to 20:00:00
  • Location: Via Zoom
  • Online

This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people with inherited sight loss to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.

We are pleased to invite you to join facilitator Perm Bhachu and the West Midlands group for their first online get together of 2025 where we are delighted to welcome our guest speaker, Davinder Kullar who has recently set up his new accessibility consultancy business, Personaleyes.

Personaleyes is an individualised service that covers assistive technology, mentoring and coaching through to advice and guidance. The service is delivered based on the individuals’ need and can be at home or at a neutral location of their choice. They cover a range of technologies from smart phones and tablets through to computers with future plans to introduce Mac which is not part of the offer yet. A package of support is then put together based on a consultation call or email in order to ensure that all sessions are tailored to the needs of the student with the focus on enabling them to be digitally independent.

Following on from Davinder’s talk, Perm is keen to catch up with the group to gather views and ideas from members about activities or events for 2025.

Please come along and have your say and share any information with the group that you may have.

We hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you there!
