‘Talking’ Tech Peer Support Group
Welcome to the 'Talking' Tech Peer Support Group where we invite you to come and share your experiences, tips and hints around all things Tech at our bi-monthly meetings.
We are pleased to invite you to join us for our latest 'Talking' Tech meeting where our Info & Support Coordinator, Mark Baxter, will be sharing some useful tech that was showcased at this years London Sight Village being held at Kensington Town Hall.
Sight Village is the UK’s leading exhibition and an integral part of the blind and low-vision landscape, attracting thousands of visitors eager to explore the latest technology, products, and support services. It offers a unique opportunity to discuss and engage with new innovations in a sensory-rich environment where you can see, touch, and fully experience products and services.
We at Retina UK are delighted and proud to be exhibiting at this event to share information and our support services for those that are living with inherited progressive sight loss, so please come and join us on Tuesday 5 November, 10.30am to 5.30pm, to say hello and get hands on with some of the accessibility technology exhibitors that will also be at the event.
For anyone that is unable to make it in person or has never experienced a Sight Village event before please join us for this ‘Talking’ Tech peer group where we will run through some of the latest accessibility technology that was on show and what to look forward to in 2025.
If you are also attending the London Sight Village in person please feel free to come along to this meeting to share your recommendations and insights from your favourite exhibitors as well as any new technology that you may have come across so far this year.
We look forward to seeing you there!
