South Wales Local Peer Support Group
This Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people living with inherited sight loss to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.
We are pleased to invite you to join facilitator Stuart Francis for our first South Wales Local Peer Support Group in-person meet up for a social get together over lunch at The Prince of Wales pub in Cardiff City Centre.
Just a 5 minute walk from Cardiff Central train station, The Prince of Wales pub is a grade II listed building and is the former Prince of Wales Theatre. Richard Burton, Noel Coward and Laurence Olivier are among the great actors who performed there. It was built, facing Wood Street, in 1878, replacing the Royal Theatre which had recently burned down. The Prince of Wales was, itself, rebuilt and an entrance added on St Mary Street. It later became a cinema, then a nightclub and was converted into this pub in 1999.
Please either meet up with Stuart and the group outside the front of Cardiff Central train station at 12.00pm or outside the pub at 12.15pm to sit down for lunch at 12.30pm.
Please find below a link to their menu if you would like to view beforehand, there is no need to pre-order food though.
