National Peer Support Group
This National Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people with inherited sight loss from all over the UK to meet up to share experiences, tips and information. Meetings are held quarterly - Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter and cover a range of different topics and guest speakers.
We are pleased to invite you to join us for our National Peer Support Group Spring meeting where we are delighted to welcome back Paul Ashurst, Founder of AbleNet UK, a company offering tailored experiences and products to people with disabilities or visual impairment of all types and ages, who first joined us at our National Summer meeting in 2023.
AbleNet UK are passionate about enabling disabled and visually impaired people to participate in new, fun and exhilarating activities. They believe that people with disabilities deserve the same opportunities and experiences as anyone else. That’s why they offer a range of activities that are accessible, safe and enjoyable for everyone.
We are also pleased to announce some exciting news that we feel will inspire our community and will be sharing how you can get involved!
We hope you can join us to hear from Paul who will give a overview of AbleNet and an update on what has been happening over the past couple of years. You will also have the opportunity to ask him any questions you may have as well as sharing any experiences or activity days that you have enjoyed and would like to recommend to the group.
We look forward to seeing you there!
