Merseyside Local Peer Support Group in collaboration with SocialEyes
This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people with inherited sight loss to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.
We are pleased to invite you to join facilitator Anna Browne and the Merseyside group in collaboration with SocialEyes for a catch up and bite to eat in Runcorn town centre.
Please come along to our first in-person meet up of 2025 where we will be visiting the Ten Lock Flight pub to enjoy a social catch up over dinner – you can view their menu in advance here – Ten Lock Flight, Runcorn
Named after the ten flights of locks on Bridgwater Canal, this pub is the ultimate local. They’ve got the fresh, light and clean look of a modern pub and the heart of a traditional one where feelgood food and drink is their thing. They love to welcome the whole family, no matter what the occasion – that’s why their menus cater for big appetites and tiny tums!
If you reside in the Merseyside area, are living with inherited progressive sight loss and wish to connect with like-minded people near you, then join us for this in-person get together where you will get the opportunity to discuss what you would like to get out of this group over the year ahead as well as sharing tips, hints and information.
The Ten Lock Flight is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute taxi ride from Runcorn train station. Runcorn station is also just a 17 minute train journey from Liverpool Lime Street station.
If you would like to join us please could we ask that you register via the form below by Thursday 13 February at the latest so Anna is able to book a table for the correct numbers. Also, after registering, you will receive an auto response email with Anna’s contact details for you to stay in touch regarding this meet up.
We hope you can come along to join the group for a wonderful evening of good food and lovely company. We look forward to seeing you there!
