London & South East Local Peer Support Group
This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people with inherited sight loss to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.
We are pleased to invite you to join facilitator Bhavini Makwana and the London & South East group for a hilarious night out at the theatre to see an audio described performance of The Play That Goes Wrong.
The Duchess Theatre has been the home of the long-running, Olivier Award-winning comedy The Play That Goes Wrong since 2014.
You all know the classic whodunnit story, there has been a murder at a country manor and an inspector is set on the case to find who the culprit is. However, when this plot is given to the accident-prone thespians at The Cornley Drama Society, everything that can go wrong… does!
The actors and crew battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences! Do you ever find out who murdered Charles Haversham? You’ll have to see for yourself!
Come and join us for a night of great entertainment at the Duchess Theatre on Friday 23rd May to experience the magic of theatre through a show designed specifically for individuals with visual impairments, featuring live audio description to bring the performance to life along with a touch tour to further enhance your experience.
Conveniently located near the heart of London, the Duchess Theatre is just a short walk from Covent Garden tube station (Piccadilly Line, 5 minute walk) , Temple tube station (District/Circle Lines, 10 minute walk) and Holborn tube station (Central & Piccadilly Lines, 10 minute walk).
