Kilimanjaro Trek 2026
Retina UK goes global! Could you take on an adventure of a lifetime and take part in the Mount Kilimanjaro Trek in October 2026?
Are you ready for an epic adventure in 2026?
Take on one of the world’s most iconic adventures with Retina UK as we head to Tanzania in October 2026 to climb the incredible Mount Kilimanjaro. This legendary trek takes you through lush rainforest, rocky open moorland and high-altitude alpine desert before reaching the snow-dusted summit of Uhuru Peak. You’ll experience dramatic shifts in landscape and temperature as you climb, and every step offers something new to take in, from unique wildlife to breathtaking views stretching for miles.
Staying in mountain camps along the route gives you the chance to switch off from the world and fully immerse yourself in the rhythm of the climb. Evenings on the mountain are peaceful, with meals prepared by the trekking team and the chance to unwind with your group under a sky full of stars if the weather’s kind. The support crew, guides and porters are dedicated to helping you reach the summit safely and confidently, so you’re always in good hands.
Taking part in an international challenge like Kilimanjaro is a powerful way to push your limits while exploring a place you might never have visited otherwise. Whether you’re an experienced trekker or someone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, this climb offers an unforgettable journey in an affordable and fully supported way. And while you take on this incredible challenge, you’ll be raising vital funds that help us support people affected by inherited sight loss. We’ll be with you from the moment you sign up, helping you prepare, train and get ready for one of the most memorable experiences of your life.
Pricing
You can either self-fund the trek and pay £3,874 yourself (made up of a £499 registration fee and a £3,375 balance), or if you’d like to choose the sponsorship option, you can pay a £499 registration fee and then the remaining £3,375 cost will be taken from your fundraising. Whichever payment method you choose, we’ll be asking for a minimum sponsorship target of £6,750. Your travel, meals and accommodation are included in your fees. The £499 registration fee can be paid in 2 instalments if you prefer. The £3,375 balance will need to be paid in mid-June 2026 (12 weeks before).
