Take to the skies in 2025!

Whether you are a thrill-seeking adventurer, or have always wanted to give it a go, skydiving is a great way to fundraise for Retina UK. The money you raise will go towards building a brighter future for those who are living with inherited sight loss.

How does it work?

Once you have paid your £70 entry fee, we would like you to a raise of minimum of £395 for Retina UK by asking your family, friends and colleagues to sponsor your skydive. The money raised will go towards the costs of your jump, with the additional funds coming to Retina UK. Once you have paid your entry fee, a member of our Fundraising team will be in touch to support you with your fundraising and to arrange for you to receive your all-important Retina UK t-shirt to wear on the day!

If you have got any queries, please contact James.Clarke@RetinaUK.org.uk.

Where can I take part?

The airfields taking part are: Brackley, Bridlington, Brigg, Durham, Grange-Over-Sands, Honiton, Lancaster, Netheravon, Norwich, Nottingham, Old Sarum, Peterborough and Swansea.

Please note that weight restrictions do apply and vary depending on the airfield. Please contact us if you have any queries.

Important

Please note:

  • These skydives are organised by Skyline Events and all skydivers are required to complete a medical form before their jump – this form will help to identify whether you need to speak to a suitably qualified healthcare professional before taking part
  • We also advise that should you have any concerns or questions relating to your health and taking on a skydive that you should seek expert advice before registering
  • A tandem skydive is suitable for sighted, visually impaired and blind people alike – if you have any accessibility questions, please contact Skyline Events on info@skylineevents.co.uk as they will be able to raise your query directly with your chosen airfield
It was the scariest experience, but once I was out, I started to enjoy the indescribable sensation! To raise thousands of pounds for Retina UK made every screaming second worth it!
