Jump In July 2024
This July, face your fears and take to the skies in aid of Retina UK. In doing so, you will raise vital funds that will enable us to continue supporting those living with inherited sight loss. You can choose from any date in July at various airfields around the UK.
The airfields taking part are: Brackley, Bridlington, Brigg, Durham, Grange-Over-Sands, Honiton, Lancaster, Netheravon, Norwich, Nottingham, Old Sarum, Peterborough and Swansea.
Please note that weight restrictions do apply and vary depending on the airfield. Please contact us if you have any queries.
Once you have paid your £70 entry fee, we would like you to a raise of minimum of £395 from asking your family, friends and colleagues to sponsor your skydive. The money raised will go towards the costs of your jump, with the additional funds coming to Retina UK. Once you have paid your entry fee, a member of our team will be in touch to support you with your fundraising and to arrange for you to get your all-important Retina UK t-shirt to wear!
If you have got any queries, please contact James.Clarke@RetinaUK.org.uk.
Important
Please note:
- These skydives are organised by Skyline Events and all skydivers are required to complete a medical form before their jump – this form will help to identify whether you need to speak to a suitably qualified healthcare professional before taking part
- We also advise that should you have any concerns or questions relating to your health and taking on a skydive that you should seek expert advice before registering
- A tandem skydive is suitable for sighted, visually impaired and blind people alike – if you have any accessibility questions, please contact Skyline Events on info@skylineevents.co.uk as they will be able to raise your query directly with your chosen airfield
