Charity Golf Day at Woburn Golf Club
In May 2026, Stuart Copeland will hold a Charity Golf Day for Retina UK at Woburn Golf Club as Stuart has both supported and received support from Retina UK over many years.
As well as Retina UK marking 5 decades of ground-breaking work for the inherited sight loss community, Woburn Golf Club is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026 and we are pleased to be holding this special charity golf day and we look forward to welcoming you.
The club has hosted sixty professional tournaments across the Duke's, Duchess and Marquess courses and it was the first 54 hole venue to have all three of its courses featured in Golf Monthly magazine's Top 100 Courses in the UK and Ireland.
For the last three years, the club has hosted the world's most talented golfers with disabilities at The G4D Open, which is staged in partnership with the R&A and the DP World Tour.
For our event, we will play the Dukes course, which was the first course to open in 1976. It was the home of the British Masters for the main tour, then the Senior tour, over four decades.
What you can expect:
- 18 holes on the Dukes course, with complimentary range balls
- Breakfast, two-course lunch and goody bags
- Individual and team prizes, for ladies and gents
- 'Longest drive' and 'nearest the pin' prizes, for ladies and gents

"It seemed appropriate to hold a golf day because both Retina UK and Woburn Golf Club are celebrating their 50th anniversaries in 2026. Everyone will have a fantastic day and we'll raise both awareness and cash!"Stuart Copeland.
