  • Location: The White Hart, Unit 4 Exchange Street, Aylesbury HP20 1UR
  • Face-to-face

This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people with inherited sight loss to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.

We are pleased to invite you to join Mark Baxter, Retina UK's Information & Support Coordinator and the Buckinghamshire group for a catch up over lunch in Aylesbury town centre.

Please come along to our first in-person meet up of 2025 where we will be visiting The White Hart pub to enjoy a social catch up over lunch – you can view their menu in advance here – The White Hart, Aylesbury – Menu

The old White Hart in Market Square dated from Tudor times. It was rebuilt in 1814 and survived until it made way for the Corn Exchange, in 1864. John Kersley Fowler then opened a ‘New White Hart’ in Exchange Street, run by Henry Turnham (last recorded in 1911).

If you reside in Aylesbury or the surrounding Buckinghamshire areas, are living with inherited progressive sight loss and wish to connect with like-minded people near you, then join us for this in-person get together where you will get the opportunity to have your say about the future of this group as well as sharing tips, hints and information.

The White Hart is an 8 minute walk from Aylesbury train station, a 5 minute walk from the bus station at Friars Square and located right next to the Exchange Street car park.

Please meet us either outside or just inside the main entrance to the pub at 12.00pm (weather dependant) so we can locate a suitable table together.

We hope you can come along to join the group for a wonderful afternoon of good food and lovely company.

Please could we ask that you register your attendance via the form below so we know who to expect on the day, thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!
