This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people with inherited sight loss to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.
We are pleased to invite you to join Retina UK's Mark Baxter for our latest in-person Buckinghamshire local peer support group meet up at the beautiful Vale Park in Aylesbury.
Come and join us for a leisurely walk around the park followed by coffee, a bite to eat and a catch up at the Aqua Vale Swimming & Fitness Centre cafe.
Vale Park is Aylesbury’s main central park with a contemporary feel, beautiful trees and striking flower beds as well as being a Green Flag Award-winning park.
If you reside in Aylesbury or the surrounding Buckinghamshire areas, are living with inherited progressive sight loss and wish to connect with like-minded people near you, then join us for this in-person get together where you will get the opportunity to have your say about the future of this group as well as sharing tips, hints and information.
Please meet us outside the main entrance to the Aqua Vale Centre at 12.00pm, where we will go for a short walk around the park before a visit to their cafe. If the weather isn’t on our side, we can go straight in to the cafe instead.
