Berkshire Local Peer Support Group
This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people with inherited sight loss to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.
We are pleased to invite you to join facilitator James Birtley and the Berkshire group for an in-person Summer social catch up over lunch at Bill's restaurant in Reading.
Bill’s Reading Restaurant is housed in the stunning Georgian St Mary’s Church House with beautiful, atmospheric interior decor with a cozy casual hip vibe. Famous for their diverse menus & popular dishes, Bill’s is great for lunch, dinner and a weekend brunch. Standout dishes include the Bill’s Big Brunch, Steak, Egg & Chips and calamari. They also offer excellent vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
You can view their menu here – Bill’s Brunch & Lunch Menu
Conveniently located in the city centre, Bill’s is just a 7 minute walk from Reading train station.
Please meet James and the group outside the entrance to the restaurant at 12.15pm so we can be seated at our table for 12.30pm.
We hope you can come along to join us for this relaxed and friendly afternoon out. We welcome you to come and share any ideas you have for venues or events you may like to visit for the rest of this year, speakers that you would like to hear from at our online meetings or if you would just like a chat, advice or simply need a listening ear, we are here to support our community living with inherited progressive sight loss.
Please ensure you register via the link below so we know who to expect on the day and to avoid disappointment as reservations for this booking are limited, thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!
