Scotland peer support group
This regional Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.
We are pleased to invite you to join our Edinburgh and Glasgow local group facilitators Valerie Scott and Lynn Barr for a special region wide Scottish peer support group where we are delighted to welcome guest speaker Angus Mackeddie, MEng Product Design Engineering student at the University of Glasgow.
Angus is currently looking into difficulties that visually impaired people deal with, to then eventually develop a product to try and alleviate this issue. For his initial research stage, he is looking to connect with people with a visual impairment, to try determine their everyday challenges and issues. He has already talked to a few people to get key issues, but for this sort of project to work, he needs to stay involved with communities and gain feedback frequently.
Please come along and join us for this special focus group to assist Angus with his research and ask any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you there!
