Back for 2023, RideLondon-Essex 100 offers 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and countryside of neighbouring Essex. With a central London finish line, this is a ride not to be missed! Join #TeamRetinaUK today and cycle for people with inherited sight loss.

Whether you’re new to cycling or a seasoned pro, we’ll be here to help. As a part of our team you’ll get help and guidance from a dedicated member of our fundraising team all the way up to the finish line. We’ll also send you your very own Retina UK cycling jersey!

Visually impaired cyclists

Visually impaired cyclists will be able to take part in RideLondon-Essex 100 on a tandem bicycle. Your pilot rider will receive a place in the race from the organisers that is free of charge. They will also receive a race medal for taking part along with a Retina UK cycling jersey. The event organisers will need to know the reason that support is required and may ask for written documentation from a medical professional to confirm this. If you have any questions about this, please do get in touch with our team.

Charity place

Registrations for 28 May 2023 places have now closed. If you're interested in riding in 2024, please get in touch.

“It is a truly extraordinary feeling to cycle through Parliament Square, up Whitehall, along the embankment and past Tower Bridge on the way out to Essex with absolutely no traffic on the roads. It was extraordinary to find such enthusiastic vocal support all the way around the ride. It never fails to surprise me how generous people are when they are faced with a good cause and someone taking on a tough challenge!”
Martin who cycled RideLondon in 2022
