Belfast Local Peer Support Group
This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people with inherited sight loss to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.
We are pleased to invite you to come and join facilitators Kim, Annmarie and the Belfast Bumpers group for their latest in-person get together and Christmas lunch at Greenisland Golf Club in Carrickfergus.
Greenisland Golf Club is just a five minute walk from Greenisland Station on the Larne line, where we have our own private room booked for our Christmas lunch celebration.
A two course meal is £28 and a three course meal is £33 and there is a bar available on the day. Tea and coffee is included with both the 2 course and 3 course meals, the restaurant provide hats and Christmas crackers. We will also be doing a Secret Santa so if you would like to be included please bring along a gift costing no more than £5.

The Christmas Menu
Starters
Breaded brie served with orange and cranberry chutney on wild leaves
Prawn cocktail cold water Atlantic prawns in a Marie Rose sauce on crispy leaves. Served with home-made Wheaton bread and lemon wedges.
Pork and liver Pate served with a spiced apricot and orange chutney
Vegetable broth or curried, parsnip and apple soup served with home-made Wheaton bread
Main Courses
Apricot and cranberry stuffed loin of pork with butter mash, roast potatoes, honey roast vegetables, Pinot Noir and roasting juices sauce
Fillet of salmon with creamy mash, roast potatoes, honey roast vegetables and a chive velute sauce
Roast stuffed turkey and ham with creamy mash, roast potatoes, Chapotle sausages and rich roast gravy
Slow roast Daube of beef with creamy mash, roast potatoes, honey roast vegetables and a rich roast gravy
Vegetarian option-sweet potato roulade with creamy mash, roast potato and honey roast vegetables
Desserts
Christmas pudding served with home-made custard
Fresh fruit, Pavlova and Chantilly cream
Raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake served with fresh cream.
Our table is booked for 1.00pm so please meet up with Kim, Annmarie and the group at Grand Central Station by 12:00pm to the left of the entrance to the trains outside the barriers to catch the 12:15 pm Carrickfergus train / Larne line train from platform 2.
If you would like to join us please ensure you register via the form below, you will then receive the auto response email containing Kim’s mobile number, please contact Kim directly no later than Saturday 14 November to confirm your attendance and to let her know your menu choices (2 or 3 courses) as well as any allergies or dietary requirements.
