Cancelled: Reading Information Day

Tuesday 21 April 2020
Reading Association for the Blind (RAB)
10.00am – 3.30pm

After careful consideration, with regret we have decided to cancel the Reading Information Day. We have been closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID19) situation, including government and Public Health England advice and we have not taken this decision lightly.

Retina UK would like to invite you to an Information Day focusing on Inherited Retinal Dystrophies (IRDs) and syndromes, including Retinitis Pigmentosa, Usher syndrome, Sorsby Fundus Dystrophy and Stargardt disease. It is being held in collaboration with Reading Association for the Blind. The venue is:

Reading Association for the Blind (RAB)
Walford Hall
Carey Street
Reading
RG1 7JS

This free to attend information day is a great opportunity to find out more about IRDs. The event will include presentations from leading medical professionals and our partners within the sight loss sector.  There will be the chance to meet with other local sight loss organisations and find out what they are offering as well as learning more about the work of Retina UK.

This event is open to:

  • Anyone affected by an inherited retinal dystrophy
  • Family and friends
  • Professionals working with affected families
  • Anyone interested learning more about this important group of eye conditions

Registration is required and places are limited, so please do contact us to confirm your place by clicking on the link below, emailing us on info@RetinaUK.org.uk or by calling us on 01280 821334!

If you would like to attend the event by phone or you have any questions, please contact the Retina UK office for further details.
