Cycle the length of Hadrian’s Cycleway during October in your own time and location!
On 12th and 13th October, a group of 35 cyclists will be taking part in the Retina UK Tandem Cycle Challenge. They will be cycling 100 miles over the two days, and now you can take on the challenge virtually with the Retina UK 100 mile virtual cycle!
Join the virtual challenge and cycle 100 miles in your own time and in your own area. You could do this on a solo bike, on a tandem or even on a cycling machine in the gym! If you complete the 100 miles during October, you will also be sent a Retina UK Hadrian’s Cycleway medal.
Why not make it a challenge for the whole family? Get out on your bikes for a weekend, or take part in half term!
Or if you have cycling enthusiasts in the office, why not get a team together and add in an element of competition… who can cycle the fastest? Or who can raise the most money?
There’s no registration fee to join the challenge virtually, and no minimum fundraising target – just raise as much as you can.
If you use the fundraising platform GivePenny, people can sponsor your whole challenge, or can pledge to sponsor you for each mile you complete. To join the event please visit https://givepenny.com/event/virtual_cycle and click on “Join Campaign.”
