Hope to Seaview returns on 9 June 2019. Organised by Retina UK Trustee Colin McArthur and his wife Linda, this fantastic event gives you the opportunity to join a group of people on a walk along the beautiful coastal path of the Isle of Wight

Hope to Seaview is a 12 mile sponsored walk from The Salix, Small Hope beach in Shanklin to the Old Fort in Seaview following the coastal path. You can be blindfolded for part of the walk if you wish.

Music at the start will be provided by Steppin out boogie bus. Walkers can purchase breakfast, ready for the start of the walk. Water taxis will be provided to ferry people across the harbour.

At the finish, you can purchase a drink and some food while listening to music provided by Retina group member John Laytons band Cajan Daze.

The walk along the coastal path is around 12 miles, of which around 1/3 is accessible, there is a gentle ascent of 100 meters up Culver cliff and a fairly steep descent the other side, if you need assistance in walking it would be advisable to bring a guide. Sturdy shoes need to be worn as the terrain can be challenging. Last year was great fun so why not come and join us.
