Wrexham & Wales peer support group
This Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.
We are pleased to invite you to join group facilitator Richard Zimbler for the next meeting of our Wrexham & Wales peer support group where we are delighted to welcome guest speaker Eleanor Rothwell, Community Connection Coordinator for the RNIB Wales.
Eleanor is a Community Connection Coordinator, based in Cardiff. For the last six years, Eleanor has managed a team of volunteers at RNIB, to engage with blind and partially sighted people, to help them form connections and support each other. To recognise the invaluable contribution to RNIB that volunteers selflessly give, Eleanor nominated her team for the Wales Online award for Peer Network of the Year.
We hope you can join us to learn more about volunteering and peer support group networks across Wales that both Retina UK and the RNIB can provide.
