This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.
We are pleased to invite you to join group facilitator Perm Bhachu to our next in-person get together where we will be visiting the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
Please come and join us for a catch up over a refreshing drink and a bite to eat at the Pavilion Tea Room situated on the Loudon Terrace, the perfect place to soak up the sun or relax in the shade followed by a relaxing stroll through the gardens.
Birmingham Botanical Gardens is the green heart of Birmingham, offering a uniquely bio-diverse natural environment. It is one of the UK’s most significant historic Botanic Gardens which has remarkably remained intact since 1829.
The Gardens offers something for everyone. With over 7000 plants to explore in their 4 Victorian Glasshouses and exciting outdoor Gardens including two Alpine Gardens, the Japanese Garden showcasing the National Bonsai Collection, a Pinetum and a rolling lawn overlooking their authentic bandstand and Aviaries.

- Adult – £7.50 or £8.25 Inc. Gift Aid
- Adult Disabled Concession – £5.85 (Please bring proof of disability such as registration card, CVI, DLA or PIP certification as this may be required).

Meet up Point & Timings
Please meet up with Perm outside the main entrance to the Gardens at 11am where you will all enter together to purchase your tickets.
Directions
By Bus – 23, 24, 1, X8, 9, X10, 12, 12A, 13, 13A, 13B, X21 and 126 all stop outside, or very close to, the Gardens.
By Tram – Take the Edgbaston Village Tram to the last stop (Just past the Hagley Rd Morrisons), it is then a pleasant 8 minute walk to The Gardens.
By Train – From Five Ways Station – 20 minutes walk. From Birmingham New Street Station – buses (as above) or taxi (approx. 20 minutes).
Parking – There is limited on-site parking and it is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Blue badge holders – free (ask at Welcome Desk).
- Non-members – £3.
All visitors (including members) MUST input their vehicle registration on the parking machine in the reception.
