Volunteering - TFL London Underground

  • Date and Time info: 3/04/2026 - 26/04/2026
  • Location: London
  • Face-to-face

We have secured some in-demand slots for bucket collections on the London Underground. Can you kindly spare a few hours to support us in April, during our special 50th anniversary year and raise awareness to thousands of people?

We are looking for friendly and passionate volunteers to raise funds and awareness for Retina UK across the Easter Bank Holiday weekend and on London Marathon race day!

The dates and stations are:

  • 3 April 2026 at London Bridge and Leicester Square
  • 4 April 2026 at Westminster, Oxford Circus and Paddington
  • 5 April 2026 at Embankment, Knightsbridge and Kew Gardens
  • 26 April 2026 at Victoria, Piccadilly Circus and St James's Park.

We are flexible on timings, as the sessions are booked from 7am - 10pm and we can discuss this further once you have registered your interest below.

Reasonable expenses will be covered and all volunteers must be aged 18 or over, however under 18s are allowed to take part with parental supervision.

Each event will have a lead volunteer who will be in charge of looking after the items and paying in the money to Retina UK.

As a #TeamRetinaUK volunteer, you’ll receive:

  • Support from a dedicated member of our Fundraising team in the run-up to the event
  • A range of materials to hand out and display

Can we claim Gift Aid on any eligible donations that you make?(Required)
Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows Retina UK to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to Retina UK we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you. By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like Retina UK to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that Retina UK will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.
