Support for you
Whether you’re a first-time runner or a seasoned pro, we’ll be here to help. As a part of our team you’ll get:
- Support and guidance from a dedicated member of our team all the way to race day.
- A personalised running vest.
- Invitation to our exclusive Strava running club where you can chat with #TeamRetinaUK runners and share training tips.
- Access to our post-race reception with showers, sports massage and hot food.
We know that signing up to fundraise for a TCS London Marathon place may feel a little daunting. Our team will be on hand to help you with your fundraising with lots of ideas to try beyond asking for sponsorship, access to a range of free fundraising materials and expert advice on how to make the most from your ideas. We also know that some of your family and friends won’t sponsor you until race day – we’ll ask you to raise 80% of your fundraising target three weeks before the race and then you’ll have six weeks after the race to raise the final amount.
Guide runners
Any participant who needs a guide can request a free place for their support runner from the event organisers. The event organisers will need to know the reason that support is required and may ask for written documentation from a medical professional to confirm this. Your guide will receive a finisher’s medal and t-shirt (as well as a Retina UK running vest). If you have any questions about this, please do get in touch with our team.
