Welcome to the 'Talking' Tech Peer Support Group where we invite you to come and share your experiences, tips and hints around all things Tech at our bi-monthly meetings.

We are pleased to invite you to come and join us for our next ‘Talking’ Tech meeting. To celebrate the first anniversary of our Discover Wellbeing service, we would like to focus this meeting around technology that can help or has helped you manage and or improve your physical, spiritual and cognitive wellbeing.

We created the Discover Wellbeing service to help people affected by inherited sight loss to develop an awareness of emotional wellbeing and the practical skills to adapt to life’s ups and downs.

We are interested to learn about what tech is available or that you can share and recommend to the group, this can be anything from mobility or adapted sports equipment or apps for exercise, health & fitness. Do you know of any relaxing or meditation apps or audiobooks that can help maintain a positive spiritual wellbeing? Do you have any gadgets or gizmos that you use around the home to aid with daily living that keeps you active and independent? Do you have any tech that helps you unwind and rest the mind or the opposite, do you have any gaming tech or use any apps to keep the mind sharp such as puzzles, board games or brain training tasks?

Come and join us for an open discussion into a world of tech which we use in our everyday lives to help sustain a great overall sense of wellbeing.

Please note that this meeting will be recorded and the audio only uploaded to our You Tube channel so please do not share any personal contact information. However, please feel free to share your experiences living with sight loss but only if you feel comfortable in doing so and remember that others outside of this meeting will be able to hear it on this public platform.
