‘Talking’ Tech peer support group
Welcome to the 'Talking' Tech Peer Support Group where we invite you to come and share your experiences, tips and hints around all things Tech at our bi-monthly meetings.
What is A.I...?? The Oxford English Dictionary defines Artificial Intelligence as 'The theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks normally requiring human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages.'
We are pleased to invite you to join the group for our next meeting where we would like to discuss all things A.I and how we integrate it into our daily lives. We would also like to know what technology you use or would be interested in using now, or in the future, this could be anything from Assistants within our smart devices to mobility such as autonomous vehicles.
Please come along and share your experience, thoughts and feelings. Do you think there are pros & cons of the advancements of artificial intelligence technology? Do you have any concerns or doubts? Or are you excited and hopeful that A.I based tech will assist those living with sight loss more as time moves forward?
“Artificial intelligence will be either the best, or the worst thing, ever to happen to humanity” – Professor Stephen Hawking.
