Welcome to the 'Talking' Tech Peer Support Group, sponsored by EMVI, where we invite you to come and share your experiences, tips and hints around all things Tech at our bi-monthly meetings.
Happy New Year! We are pleased to invite you to join us for our first 'Talking' Tech meeting of 2026 where our Info & Support Coordinator, Mark Baxter, will be sharing some useful information gained from attending the Visionary panel session 'Unlocking the Potential of A.I Wearable Technology'.
Mark will be attending this online panel session hosted by Visionary earlier the same day which evolved from their Annual Conference 2025 workshop – Unlocking the Potential of A.I Wearable Technology. They will be exploring new features and wearables, how sight loss service deliveries can be supported, other relevant matters and what the near future could look like.
Also to kick off our first meeting of the year we would like to hear from you about any new tech you may have received over the festive holidays – perhaps you bagged a bargain in either the the Boxing Day or New Year’s sales? Or have you heard of any new technology being released in 2026?
Please also come along to share your ideas for topics of discussion and speakers you would like to hear from for the the upcoming year.
