Sahara Desert Trek 2026
Retina UK goes global! Could you take on an adventure of a lifetime and take part in the Sahara Desert Trek in November 2026?
Are you ready for an epic adventure in 2026?
Join a dedicated group of Retina UK trekkers as we journey across the Moroccan desert together. This group is exclusively for our own team, so you’ll be sharing the experience side by side with people all raising funds for the same cause. You’ll get a real feel for this vast and varied landscape, crossing ancient dried up river beds, rolling sand dunes and wide sun baked plains over two full days and two half days of trekking.
You’ll camp under the desert sky at night, with the chance to see incredible stars if the weather is kind. And the traditional Berber meals prepared by the support team are always a highlight.
Taking part in an international trek offers you the perfect opportunity to explore parts of the world you may not have considered before in an affordable way. Regardless of your level of experience, whether you’re a seasoned trekker or new to the world of adventure, you can experience a journey of a lifetime in 2026 and we are here to assist you in preparing for an incredible and unforgettable time of your life.
Pricing
You can either self-fund the trek and pay £1,150 yourself (made up of a £350 registration fee and a £800 balance), or if you’d like to choose the sponsorship option, you can pay a £350 registration fee and then the remaining £800 cost will be taken from your fundraising. Whichever payment method you choose, we’ll be asking for a minimum sponsorship target of £2,500. Your travel, meals and accommodation are included in your fees. The £350 registration fee can be paid in 2 instalments if you prefer. The £800 balance will need to be paid in mid-August 2026 (12 weeks before).
