National peer support group
This National Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people to meet up to share experiences, tips and information. Meetings are held quarterly - Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter and cover a range of different topics and guest speakers.
We are pleased to invite you to join us for our Autumn group meeting where we will be ‘Talking’ Newspapers with our guest speaker, June Little, Chair of Trustees at the Cotswold Listener and Trustee of Talking News Federation.
We are delighted to welcome June to speak at our next meeting, she is a Trustee with Talking News Federation responsible for the engagement with the talking newspapers nationwide as well as being the Chair of Trustees of her own Talking Newspaper, The Cotswold Listener.
She will give us a brief history of both charities, what they do and the benefits of receiving a weekly audio version of the local news keeping Listeners connected to the community in which they live.
June is interested in your feedback from those of you who are in receipt of the weekly memory stick and will be asking for your thoughts and ideas of how we can improve the service.
We hope to see you there!
