Kent local peer support group
This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.
We are pleased to invite you to join group facilitator Luci Franks and the Kent group for an in-person meet up for lunch at the Society Rooms Pub in Maidstone.
Please come and join us for a social catch up over lunch and drinks where we will also be welcoming Mark Baxter, Information & Support Coordinator from Retina UK.
The Wetherspoon’s Society Rooms takes its name from the efforts of William Shipley, founder of the Royal Society of Arts and the Maidstone Society for Promoting Useful Knowledge. Shipley died in 1803 and is buried in Maidstone and lies in a tomb between All Saints Church and the old Palace.
The pub is just a 2 minute walk from Maidstone East train station as well as the Maidstone East Station Bus stops (O & N) which serve the 101 Sapphire, 55, 130, B150 and 29 bus routes. Please meet up outside the pub from 11.00am where you will be greeted by a representative of Retina UK.
