Glasgow Local Peer Support Group

  • Date and Time info: 17/03/2026 from 15:00:00 to 17:00:00
  • Location: Glasgow Science Centre, 50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow G51 1EA / Costa Coffee, Premier Inn, 30 Pacific Quay, Glasgow G51 1DZ
  • Face-to-face

This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people with inherited sight loss to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.

We are pleased to invite you to join our new volunteer facilitator Sarah Speed and the Glasgow group for an in-person meet up after the Glasgow Sight Village event at Costa Coffee in Pacific Quay.

Come and join Sarah for a social catch up over coffee where she will introduce herself to the group as the new facilitator.

Following on from our attendance at the Sight Village event, please meet up with Sarah inside the lobby to the Glasgow Science Centre at 3pm where we will then all walk across the road to the Costa Coffee inside the Premier Inn at Pacific Quays.

We also welcome and encourage you to come and have your say in how we move forward with this peer support group and how we can best support our community living with inherited retinal dystrophies in the Glasgow area. So please come along and share any ideas you may have for topics of discussion, speakers you would like to hear from or any ideas for venues and events you may like to visit in the coming year. Even if you would just like a chat, advice or simply need a friendly listening ear, we are here to support our community living with progressive sight loss.

We hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you there!

If you are unable to make this meeting but would like to stay in contact with others and keep up to date with this peer support group’s activity, why not join the Scotland What’s App group chat? Please still register below to find out more.
