Please come and join Suzanne and the group for a lovely day out by the coast in Weymouth including coffee and cake at the Sunflower Cafe Beach Terrace, a walk along the Esplanade and maybe even fish and chips by the sea!

Weymouth, a historic and award-winning seaside town in Dorset, is famous for its sweeping, Blue Flag golden sands and naturally sheltered bay. Located on the Jurassic Coast, it perfectly blends an elegant Georgian Esplanade with a bustling, picturesque harbour, making it one of the UK’s premier family-friendly coastal destinations.

The Sunflower Cafe Beach Terrace offers outdoor seating directly facing Weymouth Bay, providing a relaxed spot to take in the sea breeze and views. The kiosk is famous for its expertly crafted, multi-layered artisan cakes baked fresh daily. Popular highlights include Honey Cake, Blackcurrant Cake, Esterhazy, and their highly photogenic fruit-shaped cheesecakes coated in white chocolate.

Please meet up with Suzanne and the group for 11.00am at the Sunflower Cafe, which is located next to the K1, K2, K3, K5, K6 and K8 bus stops as well as being just a 5 minute walk from Weymouth train station.

Following on from the cafe we will take a leisurely walk along the stunning coastline and, weather dependent, stop on the beach for an optional dip in the sea! If anyone would then like to stay on we can find a local restaurant or have fish and chips on the seafront.
