Belfast local peer support group
This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.
Group facilitator Kim Lamb invites you to join the Belfast/Northern Ireland group for a walk along the beautiful paved coastal path next to Bangor seafront followed by lunch.
We will be meeting at the Great Victoria train station by the seating area to the right of the ticket office at 10.10 am, our train then departs at 10:32 am. We travel to Carnalea train station on the Bangor line – our travel time is 36 minutes.
We will exit the train at Carnalea and follow the coastal path in an Easterly direction towards Bangor. The walk is 2.4 miles or 3.9 km, so a short walk but extremely picturesque and stunning.
We then head to the Kook Bangor restaurant in town, which serve excellent food. It will be so wonderful to see friends and have a catch up.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to participate in the walk but would still like to meet up and join us for lunch, then please feel free to come straight to the restaurant for 1.30pm and we will see you there.
Trains leave Bangor train station for Great Victoria train station at 55 minutes to the hour and 25 minutes after the hour.
