Belfast Local Peer Support Group
This Local Peer Support Group provides a welcoming, safe and friendly opportunity for people with inherited sight loss to meet up to share experiences, tips and information.
We are pleased to invite you to come and join facilitator Kim Lamb and the Belfast Bumpers group for their latest in-person outing where they will be taking the train over to Londonderry for the day to enjoy lunch at The Exchange restaurant followed by a walk around The Derry Walls.
On arrival in Londonderry we will head over to The Exchange, a family friendly, informal restaurant located centrally near the Peace Bridge in the busy town centre, for a delicious lunch and social catch up. Please find a link to their menu below:-
Following on from lunch we will walk over to explore the nearby Derry Walls. Originally built between 1613 and 1619, the Derry Walls are the largest ancient monument in state care in Northern Ireland and have the longest, complete circuit of ramparts of any of the remaining 30 walled towns in Ireland. Visitors can walk around this intact 17th-century enclosure with 7 gates & 24 restored cannons.
